as a vegan, i find the chickens have great personalities.

 

i’ve been doing a lot of gardening around the house lately. we’ve got a handful of chickens, which most of my housemates rely on for egg consumption. i take an entirely different standpoint on their existence. they each have unique dispositions. they kept me company recently while planting garlic.

 

this is big momma. she rules the coop. her character is very bold and daring. she doesn’t scare easily and while planting garlic, she enjoyed helping till the soil by picking at all the bugs.
